"They told us what to expect every step of the way." Melissa McCutchan says that the day her one-week-old daughter Katelynn underwent heart surgery was the hardest day of her life. They brought us dinner and encouraged us to get our rest." After 102 days, Katelynn finally went home. Even as she was being discharged from the hospital, the staff gave her case unwavering attention. "I didn't have to worry about a thing," says Melissa. "They told us everything, from when to see the doctors again, to how to give her medication. They arranged for a home health care nurse, and there was even a woman who handled the insurance for us."
